We're heading out at 6:15 am from campus and flying out at 9:45! So it is obviously time to get pumped. Most of us are meeting up tonight and having some slumber parties, which might include some dance parties. Our group is pretty amazing! It's a mix of seniors, juniors, sophomores, and freshmen with tons of different majors and tons of different experiences. Throughout the fall semester, we've been meeting and learning more about each other so that we won't show up in El Paso and be complete strangers.
The planning process has been crazy dealing with organizations simply disappearing and free housing falling through, but everyone has been so laid back. We're all just extremely excited to even be going on this trip together and having the opportunity to learn so much about an issue that is so important to our community, our country, and everyone.
People will switch off posting everyday to fill everyone in on what we're doing, what we're learning, and just how much fun we are having.
